Ashley-Brooke, “AB,” is a Wake Forest native who has been dancing her way through life for as long as she has been in it. She learned to express herself through movement at a young age, and when her dance career ended, she found strong similarities to the discipline of yoga, which became the foundation of her yogic journey. Yoga was first introduced to AB in middle school by one of her dance teachers needing teaching hours. She remembers thinking that day how cool it would be to one day learn to be a yoga teacher.

The path to yoga was not as straightforward after that, but we all know the journey is what makes the destination all the more special.

AB obtained her RYT® 200 through Nova Yoga School in Raleigh where she studied under Diala Hamed and Jot Anant. Her studies included versatile training from various yoga disciplines. She truly learned the magic of connection, balance, and mindfulness during this time. AB brings a very fluid-like connection to her teaching, pushing her students to turn off and tune in. Her goal is to help her students connect their movement and breath, while reaching to extend their energies through anatomical lines.
