This workshop will teach you about Pranayama, or the practice of breath control. Focus on breathing was a part of ancient yogic practices and is now underscored in many yoga classes, as well as being recognized by modern science as beneficial to the mind and body.
Discover a group of exercises that teach you how to manipulate the rate and depth of your breathing. This will help you bring awareness to your breath, and ultimately, give you the same benefits you might get from a meditative practice.
1. Learn 4-5 pranayama exercises.
2. Learn techniques to get into a state of deep meditation.
3. Learn the three stages of meditation (Dharana, Dhyana, & Samadhi) while practicing breathing techniques.
4. Learn steps to ground yourself in mindfulness.
Through her yoga practice and workshops, Nicole’s intention is to share tools and resources with people seeking peace and stress reduction. Through trauma-informed yoga, guided meditation/visualization, breathing practices, sound therapy, and individualized self-care solutions, her goal is to pass along methods to help others gain a calmer nervous system and heart.
